We're the official Canadian chapter of ITKAN, a Muslim-founded robotics movement built on itkan (mastery) and ihsaan (excellence). We bring that same ladder to Ottawa: FLL Explore → FLL Challenge → FTC, hosted at KMA.

Our programs follow the FIRST pathway at KMA, each stream meeting children where they are and growing with them. Start young with hands-on discovery; finish building competition robots and leading a team.

Every stream follows the same proven arc, built on the globally recognised FIRST LEGO League model, so children explore, build, share, and celebrate, growing in skill and character at each step.
Students dive into a real-world theme, space, sustainability, ocean conservation, and discover the STEM ideas behind it, sparking curiosity, critical thinking, and ethical problem-solving.
Using LEGO Education kits, students design, build, and program their own moving models, hands-on engineering, coding, and teamwork, done with integrity and collaboration.
Students document their work in an engineering notebook and present their designs to peers, mentors, and community, building confidence, public speaking, and leadership.
Students take their skills to FIRST LEGO League events, friendly competition, like-minded young innovators, and a real sense of accomplishment on a global stage.
We don't choose between rigorous STEM and grounded character. The best engineers we know are curious, humble, and generous, so we build all of it together, on purpose.
Holistic development is the goal, not a slogan. Patience, integrity, and teamwork are coached as deliberately as gears and code, so children grow as people, not just builders.
Genuine engineering, design, iteration, failure, and breakthrough. Children learn to think like problem-solvers and meet a real standard, with mentors who hold the bar high and kindly.

We make robotics a place where Muslim girls lead, designing, coding, and competing with confidence, in a space that honours their identity. And the evidence is clear: FIRST's gains are even greater for girls.
We believe talent and curiosity are everywhere, opportunity should be too. That's why we reserve a tenth of every cohort for scholarship seats, offered quietly and with dignity. If cost is a barrier, talk to us. We'll find a way.
